Hello! I’m Charles, and I’m glad you’re here.

I’m Charles Quijada Turlington (he/they), the owner of Queen City Healing Arts. I’m a licensed massage therapist and craniosacral therapist who has been working in the healing arts since 2013.

I graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2013 where I studied myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and neuromuscular therapy. I concluded my time in massage school with an internship at an inner city health center, providing equitable care for diverse clients. I also studied craniosacral therapy extensively with the Upledger Institute, serving as a teaching assistant for various classes around the country, with a focus on neuroanatomy and somatoemotional release.

Since then, I spent many years serving as a craniosacral therapist for American veterans & active-duty service members with Healing Warriors Program. I also worked as a perioperative therapist, providing medical massage therapy for clients recovering from surgery, accidents, and trauma.

This work connected me to clients from all walks of life and in every season of life. Over the course of my career, I’ve encountered an incredible number of people who found the strength within themselves to heal. That’s what led me to opening Queen City Healing Arts in 2019. I created this space so all the layers of a person can be respected: the physical, emotional, and deeper elements of a person’s story and experience. Now, I help clients navigating chronic pain, nervous system dysregulation, and patterns of physical tension and emotional trauma.

And that’s why I’m here! I offer my extensive knowledge of the body, experience with a diversity of clients, and patient compassion to help you feel better in your body and support your healing journey.

“I have been a client of Charles for almost a decade. He is the most gentle, caring soul and has this beautiful ability to hold space. I recommend Queen City Healing Arts to anyone in need of a safe place to receive body work and healing.”
